YEZZ, a small and unknown manufacturer, has announced two models based on Windows Phone 8.1, available for purchase in late May in major markets starting from US, Latin America and Europe. The ‘premium’ one is ‘YEZZ Billy 4.7’. It has a slim aluminium body (just 7.2 mm) with Lumia-like interchangeable backs available in three colours – white, blue and red. This would be the slimmest Windows Phone to date, with a 4.7-inch IPS display (1280 x 720 pixels), unknown quad-core processor and two SIM slots.

Billy 4.7 Windows Phone comes with a 13-megpiaxel camera on the back, Gorilla Glass 2 protectionand 4G HSPA+ support. Unfortunately, there is no information about the storage capacity or the battery, but the price looks very competitive for such specs. Yezz Billy 4.7 is yours for just$249/€229, with sales starting from late May in Europe. The handset will arrive in the US in early June with Amazon.com announced as exclusive partner. The second model Billy 4.0 costs $139. It is a low-end device, sporting a 4-inch screen, quad-core processor and 8-megapixel camera.

As you can see both new phones have attractive pricing, but the brand has zero popularity which would be a major drawback. The main advantage of buying a product from YEZZ is that you won’t need to sign a contract as the phones are sold contact-free. The slim design of the Billy 4.7 looks promising too, but we should wait to see the ‘real’ device. Would you consider buying a Windows Phone model from YEZZ?
