Windows Store apps show up with support for Surface Phone
The mobile Surface will launch as a new device category
Microsoft has begun testing the listing of a new category of devices for apps inside the Windows Store. According to Windows Central, some existing Windows apps, both for PC and Mobile, are already listed with support for the Andromeda OS using a placeholder icon and the number 8828080 as a name. Microsoft Store, Spotify and some other apps and games have been listed with support for Xbox, HoloLens, PC, Mobile and Andromeda.
This is the same placeholder Microsoft is using in the internal code for Windows 10 OneCore OS that is expected to run on both mobile devices and PCs, capable of transforming the user interface in real time based on the form factor.
