Although there were some pretty nice third-party video editing apps in the Store (like Movie Maker), Windows Phone lacked an official, native tool for creating unique videos… until today. Video Tuner, an app based on new imaging SDK 1.2 developed by Microsoft, is now live in the Windows Store offering a slew of unique features and tools, but the greatest thing is that Video Tuner will cost you nothing!

Video Tuner allows you to edit video clips by adding different filters, music, and applying cool effects. It supports some of the most popular video (MPEG4) and audio (mp3) formats. Videos can be cropped, flipped and rotated. Users can adjust speed (from slow-motion to high-speed), tweak contrast, exposure, color settings, saturation and more.

After you’ve finished editing, you can share the videos directly on popular social networks. The app supports Vine and Instagram sharing so you can edit, crop, change speed and ratio for all videos uploaded to the networks.

Video Tuner is a pretty large app – it takes up to 40MB of your storage. Download the app from Windows Store and start creating your unique videos right now.
