Windows Phone now has a Snapchat competitor – WindUp

Whilst an Official Snapchat client is still missing for our platform and different third party apps face issues related to connectivity and performance, Microsoft Research tries to fill the gap in time-limited messaging services by launching an exclusive Windows Phone app called WindUp.

WindUp works just like the popular Snapchat app. Users can send temporary messages or media files and decide how long they will be visible to their friends. Users can specify either time or view limit so these temporary messages will disappear when the rule is met. WindUp allows you to send text, audio, video, and pictures.
