Windows Maps updated with traffic cameras and lane guidance

Windows Maps for Windows 10 device has been updated with a couple of new features. There is a new ‘Cameras’ option that allows you to see live traffic conditions in 11 countries thanks to 35,000 traffic cameras.

The updated Maps for Desktop and Mobile also allows you to pin directions to the Start Screen for quick access – the feature was previously available in the old version, but the company has slightly changed the option name – from ‘Pin guided directions’ to just ‘Pin directions’.

Other new additions are lance guidance in turn-by-turn navigation and the ability to track Santa Claus. You can download Windows Maps for free from the Microsoft Store.
