Insiders can install a new preview build of Windows 10

Build 10547 of Windows 10 is now available for all Windows Insiders who can go to Settings -> Update and upgrade their PCs and tablets to the new preview build of the OS.

There are several improvements in this build:

• 4 columns of medium tiles on the Start: Go to Settings -> Personalization -> Start and enabling “Show more tiles”
• Start now supports up to 2048 tiles instead of 512
• Tablet mode improvements: snap apps to left or right, swipe down to close (like Windows 8.1)
• App updates: Photos, OneDrive, Mail, Maps, Xbox
• Sign-in screen: turn off the background
• Microsoft Edge: Object RTC for developers
• Text input improvements
• Fixes in Action Center, Realtek audio issues, background shuffle and more

Here are the known issues:

• Apps may not update automatically
• False warning messages in Update & Security > Windows Update regarding older builds. Ignore them.
