Windows 10 Mobile Fall Creators Update available as a Preview for Insiders
The public roll out of the update is imminent
One day after the Fall Creators Update reached the first supported Windows 10 PCs, Microsoft is almost ready to release the update to smartphones running Windows 10 Mobile. Although both updates (for PCs and phones) significantly differ in terms of features, and the mobile version looks like a minor update compared to Windows 10 PCs, version 1709 (Fall Creators Update) brings many small improvements and fixes to supported Windows phones. Here’s what’s new for phones:
The update appears as “2017-10 Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for arm-based Phone Devices‘. It’s currently live only for Windows Insiders, but it could be unleashed to the general public very soon. Keep in mind that just like any other Windows update, the Fall Creators Update is also rolling out in waves, so you may have to wait a couple of days before the update reaches your device.
