Windows 10 Mobile build 15252 rolled out to Insider Fast
Build 15252 brings additional fixes to Insiders
Three days after build 15250 hit the Insider Fast Ring, Microsoft released another preview of Windows 10 Mobile to Insiders. Build 15252 for Fast Ring brings additional fixes and improvements over the previous versions, like fixing app crashes due to high demand for CPU. Additionally, this build changed the product version number to 1709 as a preparation for the official Creators Update II (Fall 2017).
Here are all improvements in Build 15252 for Windows mobile:
- This build includes all the improvements from KB4038788.
- In preparation for the release of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the product version number has been updated to 1709 just like PC.
- We fixed an issue where, on powering the screen off/on, high demand for CPU could cause several apps to crash. Background processing of photos is an example of high CPU demand. In a photo shoot session, you may have seen the Camera app crash.
- We fixed an issue with the Messaging app where conversation text was displayed incorrectly. Thanks to our Insiders that quickly highlighted this issue.
The company is in the final stage of polishing the ‘feature2’ development branch before rolling out a Release Preview build and then the official update to supported hardware.
