WIndows Insiders can upgrade to build 10586.29

An update is available for Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring. Mobile build 10586.29 doesn’t add new features, but improves the overall performance, fixes bugs and brings some security updates to the mobile platform.

Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586.29 is not yet available for the new Lumias (550, 950 & 950 XL) which are running the older build 10586.0, but Microsoft promised support for these phones will be added in the coming days. LG Lancet will also be able to install Windows 10 Mobile early next week.

What’s new in update 10586.29:

• upgrade process improvements
• improved application backwards compatibility for Windows Phone 8.1 Silverlight apps
• Microsoft Edge improvements
• Bluetooth improvements
• Issues with Active cellular profile for Dual-SIM phones have been resolved

Build 10586.29 is also expected to reach the first non-Insiders phones before the end of 2015.
