Microsoft is about to change the UI of Windows Camera

The company is officially testing the new UI of the Windows 10 Camera app, as the update is already live for everyone who opted to the Skip Ahead Ring. According to A.Lumia, the UI now allows you to use a PC, tablet or any other Windows device to take photos with Pro-camera features such as ISO, white balance and manual focus.

These pro features can be found at the left part of the screen, in the hamburger-like menu, unlike the smartphone approach. Version 2018.1213.30.0 is currently available for Windows Insiders in the Skip Ahead ring, but the app should be updated for everyone in the coming weeks.

Microsoft is still developing the Windows 10 Camera app, despite the fact that the smartphone market has been abandoned since the Lumia 950/XL launch three years ago.
