Plugin for other camera apps and RAW support now available

Microsoft has updated the default camera app on Windows 10 Mobile. Although Windows Camera is far from complete and still has some glitches, the company put a lot of efforts on polishing and improving all built-in Windows 10 apps.

Windows Camera’s latest update added Lenses to the menu for all devices and dual capture mode (JPEG + DNG) for supported PureView models.

The company has also fixes Rich Capture mode so users can now edit their HDR shots.

The new update is available for devices running the latest preview build – 10512.
