New sharing options for Viber on Windows 10
Viber has begun rolling out today a new update to its Windows 10 app, upgrading it from version 6.5 to 6.6 for PC and Mobile. Viber 6.6 comes with noticeable changes in the Share UI, including new options and improved photo sharing.
After tapping on the share icon in a chat window, you can now see six options – to send photo & video; take photo & video; send file (NEW); share contact; send location (NEW); hold & talk.
There is also a difference in how you select a photo on PCs and phones.
In Windows 10 Mobile, Viber now has a built-in photo picker opening by default as soon as you tap on the share icon. You can attach one, or more than one photo, and then send them altogether. For comparison, the PC version doesn’t support multiple file sharing – you can only attach a single photo.
This update for Viber should be available for everyone on Windows 10 in the coming days.
