Updated ‘Transfer My Data’ allows you to back up to SD card
Microsoft’s simple but handy tool for copying contacts and messages from phone to phone using Bluetooth, Transfer My Data, has been updated to version 6.0.3.
The new version adds support for SD cards and fixes some bugs. Transfer My Data now allows you to back up contacts and messages and then transfer them via Bluetooth or SD card to a new phone. The app supports all popular OS including Android, iOS, Symbian, Windows, BlackBerry, so you can switch to a new phone without losing important contact data.
Now you can send the back-up files (.vcf or .vmsg) to an external SD card. Click on the dots (…) menu on the right and select what to export to SD card. The app makes a copy of all contacts in the People Hub, and/or messages (for supported phones only).
Transfer My Data is available for free.
