Dim your page and focus on the video content

A new app extension for the Microsoft Edge browser has been released in the Windows Store. Using the new ‘Turn Off the Lights’ add-in, you can make the entire page dark while watching videos.

Installing the extension is very easy. Just click on the link below and download it from the store. Then you will see a confirmation window in the browser to enable the extension.

Next time you open a website with videos and tap ‘play’, you can just click on the lamp button in the Settings menu to fade the page to dark. If you want to bring the lamp icon next to the address bar – right click and select the first option.

Turn Off the Lights extension for Microsoft Edge comes with many settings like the ability to customize your YouTube experience, options for shortcuts, camera motion, auto night more, and much more.

The extension works with all popular video sites, including YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo and many others.
