T-Mobile launches the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL for $139
The budget-friendly Windows Phone goes on sale this week
T-Mobile US will start selling the new OneTouch Fierce XL smartphone in the second week of February for just $139, contract-free.
This phone offers an interesting mix between low and mid-range specs, including a Snapdragon 210 processor, 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM. The Fierce XL has a 5.5-inch HD screen, 4G support, 8MP main camera, 2-megapixel selfie camera, and a 2500 mAh battery. All those innards for $139 without a contract looks like a reasonable pricing, which could be a good move especially for the sinking Windows Phone marketshare in the States.
The phone will be shipping with a relatively new version of the OS – Windows 10 Mobile 10586.63, while the current flagship Lumias are still on 10586.29 (officially).
Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL is expected to hit more countries in the weeks following the debut for T-Mobile.
