Surface Pro 5 to offer a similar design and upgraded specs
First details on Microsoft Surface Pro 5
According to a new report from Paul Thurrott, Microsoft is going to release a successor to its Surface Pro 4 tablet in the coming months. This hardware refresh of the Surface Pro line won’t be dramatic, and the new model will likely include a similar design to its predecessor, but upgraded internal components.
The next hybrid tablet will retain the Surface power connector and all adapters, docking stations and the keyboard will be compatible. The company will likely include a USB Type-C port in favor of the classic DisplayPort.
Microsoft may be presenting the Surface Pro 5 tablet during a Spring event which is yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more.
