Microsoft faces a high demand for its flagship products

Three weeks after taking the wraps off many new products, Microsoft has started selling the Surface Book and the Surface Pro 4 through its physical and online stores in the United States and Canada.

According to Microsoft’s spokesman, the ultimate laptop Surface Book will be available in limited quantities in the physical stores, because of a very successful early pre-order campaign and stock limitations. Microsoft confirms that the in-store inventory is limited, but plans to deliver new laptops daily.

Surface Book orders via the online store have also started, but you may need to wait between 3 and 7 weeks to get your laptop. For example, the version with 128GB, 8GB of RAM and Intel Core i5 processor will ship by November 20, while the most expensive Surface Book (1TB, Intel Core i7 /16GB of RAM) for $3,199 will ship by January 22.

Surface Pro 4 is also available in both physical and online stores. The cheapest version of the 2-in-1 device is $899 – it comes with 128GB, Intel Core M and 4 GB of RAM. While you can buy the less expensive Surface Pro 4 versions right now, the two most expensive configurations ($1,599 and $1,799) of the Surface Pro 4 will ship by November 20 if ordered online, but you may have more luck visiting some of the real stores in the US or Canada.
