Spotify, Movies & TV apps pick up updates
Movies & TV app now shows download time estimates
Two of the popular Windows apps have picked up new updates. The Spotify app for Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile have been updated to version 5.2.2. This is the second update for Spotify in 2016, both happening this month.
Like the first one, the second update also brings minor performance improvements and bug fixes. Spotify hasn’t announced plans to launch a new Windows 10 Mobile app, but it’s good that at least the company is improving the old one.
Movies & TV version 3.6.1867 includes an improved media transport control, new ”skip forward” and skip ”back buttons”.
The updated Windows 10 app also allows you to see time estimates for films and TV program downloads, and to delete Films & TV shows from your collection of each device.
