Universal Skype app updated for Windows 10 and Mobile

The latest Skype Preview update brings the app to version 11.7.79.0 and includes a number of under the hood changes, performance improvements and support for the lockscreen.

Among the visible changes is the ability to choose Skype to show quick status on the Lock Screen. The detailed statuses are still not supported in this preview version.

Skype Preview UWP 11.7.79.0 also includes smaller UI tweaks like re-positioning of the emoticon, photo and file sharing buttons.

This update is available only for Insiders on the Anniversary Update Preview, but Microsoft should make the app visible to everyone after August 2 in the Windows Store [download link]
