Skype photo sharing and Mojis available via the native Messaging app
You can finally share photos via the Messaging app in Skype mode
Microsoft has recently updated the native Messaging app for Windows 10 Mobile Redstone build 14267, and promised to roll out the upgraded app for all Windows 10 Mobile users, even for non-Insiders. We can now confirm that the improved Messaging app version 2.14.23002 is being rolled out to everyone with Windows 10 Mobile, but it might take awhile for your phone to see the update, depending on region and phone variant.
Messaging for Windows 10 Mobile now includes the ability to send photos in Skype Mode and supports Mojis. In addition to photo sharing, you will be are able to send contacts, location, videos, and voice notes via Skype.
Skype Mojis are short video clips you can send as instant messages. You can find them in the emoticon roster after switching to Skype mode from the Messaging app.
Microsoft has also fixed the Settings menu, so you can now reach the settings for Messaging directly, without clicking on a hyperlink.
