The phone could be announced at CES 2016 in Las Vegas

Microsoft seems to be preparing a successor to the Lumia 640. Yesterday, a leaked render revealed the front of the unannounced Lumia 650, while today, we are seeing its back, thanks to @evleaks.

Judging by the renders, the phone will have a similar design to its predecessor, but it may include a front-facing speaker and a metal band around the sides.

We can also see a larger camera module, single LED flash and the Microsoft/Windows logo.

The calendar date on the Live Tile is ‘Monday 4th‘, which leads to the assumption that the Lumia 650 could be presented in the next Monday 4th which is in January. The same week is the big consumer electronics show in Las Vegas – CES, so Microsoft may use the event to throw some new devices, such as the rumored mid-range phones Lumia 650, 750 and/or Lumia 850.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Microsoft Lumia 650 is expected to include a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor with LTE support, 8MP camera, microSD, 8 GB storage, 1 GB of RAM.
