The phone could be announced at CES 2016 in Las Vegas

Microsoft seems to be preparing a successor to the Lumia 640. Yesterday, a leaked render revealed the front of the unannounced Lumia 650, while today, we are seeing its back, thanks to @evleaks.

Judging by the renders, the phone will have a similar design to its predecessor, but it may include a front-facing speaker and a metal band around the sides.

We can also see a larger camera module, single LED flash and the Microsoft/Windows logo.

The calendar date on the Live Tile is ‘Monday 4^th‘, which leads to the assumption that the Lumia 650 could be presented in the next Monday 4^th which is in January. The same week is the big consumer electronics show in Las Vegas – CES, so Microsoft may use the event to throw some new devices, such as the rumored mid-range phones Lumia 650, 750 and/or Lumia 850.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Microsoft Lumia 650 is expected to include a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor with LTE support, 8MP camera, microSD, 8 GB storage, 1 GB of RAM.
