How to change the app notification settings

After the Anniversary Update for Windows 10 Mobile you can customize the app notifications in the action center, setting a priority and number of notifications for any app that sends information to the Action Center.

Prior the Redstone 1 update you could only turn off / on notifications coming from an app. Currently, with the Anniversary Update for Windows 10 Mobile you can select a priority for these notifications. You can choose between Top, High and Normal (default). For example, if the most important app for you is Viber, you can set a Top priority and see all notifications coming from Viber at the top of action center. Furthermore, you can also change the number of notifications visible in the center. For any app the default number is 3, but you can change it to 1, 5, 10 or 20.

Notifications Settings

All these settings can be found in System → Notifications & Actions. Scroll the page until you see the app list with all senders. Tap on a sender to see more settings, and change them according to your preferences.
