The app automatically generates story compilations

Photo Story is a Microsoft Garage project that gives you the ability to create video stories from your photos. The app automates the process to a maximum level, so that users can create and share stories with a few taps.

You can select up to 30 photos from the Camera roll folder – unfortunately OneDrive support has not been included in the first release.

Then select a theme, add music, and let Photo Story to the rest. The app uses machine learning techniques in the selection process, recognizes blurry and not correctly exposed photos to create the best possible story for you. The final video stories can be saved in the phone and shared with friends.

Photo Story also supports Cortana voice commands – just say “Story from today”.
