OneDrive app gets a new UI and Business Support
Unlimited storage for all Office 365 subscribers
Microsoft has updated its OneDrive application for Windows smartphones. The new version brings an improved user interface and other significant changes and features. Among them is support for Business accounts so users can access both their personal and business account on the go. Another new feature is the ability to jump to shared and recent files using a new menu button.
Yesterday, MSFT announced that all Office 365 subscribers (both personal and business) are getting unlimited storage on the Cloud. With this decision, Microsoft has started pressing the competitors even more, so they will need to respond in order to prevent the loss of customers. Whilst Dropbox offers 1 TB for $9.99 per month, OneDrive provides unlimited storage with each Office 365 subscription starting from just $6.99 per month. Home, Personal, and University subscribers will be the first to get unlimited storage which has already started rolling out, while the business customers will need to wait until early 2015.
