Nokia, the leading Windows Phone-based smartphone manufacturer, has become the fourth largest brand in USA for Q3 2013, with a huge growth from 1.4% to 4.1% for just a quarter. Nokia occupies the fourth spot for the first time since iPhone was launched. It seems that after the big change in its US market strategy and hard work, the Finish company starts bearing fruits. Nokia overtook Motorola, HTC, BlackBerry, Huawei and other smartphone brands. The leading companies in the USA remain Apple (33.7%), Samsung (33.6%) and LG (8.6%). Google’s Motorola faces low sales, leading to a share of 3.7%, which is enough for the fifth place.

Today, Nokia is working more closely with the carriers in order to offer consumers exclusive and differentiated products with unique value propositions. Nokia has also built its Lumia portfolio, introducing some great and competitive devices, giving the consumers more options on the market. At the same time, Windows Phone’s presence in the stores has been improved and the Lumia line-up won more shelf spaces.

Nokia will add new models to the portfolio very soon. Lumia 1520, 1320 and other smartphones will arrive at AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and other carriers. Finally, Nokia’s offering looks deeper, broader and differentiated, so we expect Lumia and Windows Phone to continue to grow in the next quarters.
