Nokia Lumia 830 is available for purchase from today

From today UK customers can place their orders for the new mid-range Lumia 830 through a number of carriers and retailers. An on-contract Lumia 830 is only £24.99 while Amazon retailers sell it for £305-313 SIM free. Another merchant offering the phone is Unlocked Mobiles who asks you to pay £305.

Vodafone, EE, Tesco, and Carphone Warehouse are some of the providers and merchants selling the 5-inch Windows Phone from today. Combining many premium flagship features with elegant design, and some mid-range specs, the Nokia Lumia 830 looks like a strong competitor, but is definitely a step below the real flagship Lumia 930.

The phone comes with a 10MP PureView camera with Zeiss optics and optical image stabilization. Cortana assistant comes pre-loaded alongside Windows Phone 8.1 with live folders, Denim update with imaging improvements, and Sensor Core functionality for low-consumption motion tracking.

UK customers can purchase all four color variants of the last Nokia branded smartphone – white, black, green, or orange.
