Nokia has released updates to two of its apps for Windows Phone – Cinemagraph and Video Upload.

Nokia Cinemagraph creates animated ‘live’ pictures with some cool effects so the output is a mix between photo and movie. Using the app, you can snap a photo and then select an area to create a short animation effect. The app supports HD 720p resolution and has some nice tools such as color pop, allowing you to highlight certain colors from the picture. The new version 4.1.1.5 adds several new features. You can export cinemagraphs as GIFs or share them on popular Social media. Other enhancements according to the app changelog are: general performance and location data improvements.

Nokia Video Upload updates to version 2.0. What’s new in this version? Users will be able to upload longer videos (up to 15 minutes) and the app now supports more smartphones. With Video Upload you can shoot a video using your Lumia smartphone and then share it with friends. Before uploading, you can open the file and trim it with Nokia Video Trimmer app.
