Chaseable Live Tile for the News app

Microsoft rolled out updates to its MSN apps (Weather, News, Sports and Money), available for Insiders on the Fast Ring. There are two interesting new features in this wave of updates. First, the MSN News app grabs a Chasable Live Time, allowing you to open an article directly when tapping on the Tile that rotates the most interesting stories.

Second, the update for the Weather app introduces an optional Transparent Tile you can enable from the Settings Menu, so you can switch between a blue background and a transparent tile.

Along with the visible new features, all apps have grabbed performance, reliability improvements and bug fixes.

After a couple of weeks of testing, the new features should be rolled out to the non-Insider devices.
