The new ‘Surface Pro’ leaked in photos ahead of official unveil
Microsoft to announce the successor to the Surface Pro 4 on May 23
The Surface-related event in China on May 23 will officially unveil the new Surface Pro tablet, but we already have some information and images. Microsoft will apparently ditch the numbering scheme for the Surface line, and name the tablet simply ‘Surface Pro’.
Surface Pro 2017 will be a modest visual upgrade compared to the Pro 4, but it will include updated specs in order to be more competitive this year. Microsoft has registered a slight decline of the Surface sales in the previous quarter, as a result of the aging Surface Pro line.
Surface Pro will be launched with new colors of the Keyboard and the Pen, which will be similar to the colors announced for the Surface Laptop.
Microsoft will not livestream the Shanghai event next week, so stay tuned to our blog to read all important announcements.
