New Surface devices announced this week
Surface Pro 6, Laptop 2, Studio 2 and more
Microsoft introduced as expected its hardware refresh of the Surface line, but also new accessories under the same brand. Here’s the wrap up:
Surface Pro 6
Similar in design to the previous version, the new tablet is now available in new white and black colors. It’s also more powerful inside, thanks to latest Intel processors from the 8th generation. Surface Pro 6 starts from $899 on October 16.
Surface Laptop 2
Also offered in new nice looking matte black color, the new version of the laptop is 85% faster compared to the original model. The display has been improved too, now offering a 1500:1 contrast ratio, while the keyboard is more accurate than before. Prices start from $999 for the basic configuration.
Surface Studio 2
The Microsoft’s all-in-one computer has not been changed visually, but it has a better graphic chip and processors inside. It also has a USB-C port at the back, something still not available on the tablet and the laptop. Surface Studio goes on sale for $3499.
Surface Headphones
The new member of the Surface family is the Bluetooth headphones that look a bit bigger at a first glance, but inside you will find some decent things, like 4 mics, noise cancellation feature, Cortana and more. They cost $350.
In addition to the hardware, Microsoft announced the Surface All-Access program that would allow you to finance a device for 24 months.
