New builds available for Windows Insiders on Fast and Release Preview rings
Windows 10 Mobile feature2 advances to build 15228
Microsoft rolled out new builds to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview and Fast Rings. The new build for Fast Ring Insiders has number 15228 – it is again from the feature2 branch that brings only performance improvements and fixes.
If you jump on this build, you’d better know that you won’t be able to receive updates of core Windows apps like Maps, Photos, People and others. Among the improvements in build 15228 in the Fast Ring are fixed notifications with Fitbit, fixed crashes of the Photos app, improved battery while taking photos, fixed issue with playing video, and general improvements in reliability.
Along with build 15228, Microsoft also released a cumulative update for Windows Insider – Release Preview. Windows 10 Mobile 15063.447 from the Creators Update branch fixes high memory usage of the Camera app, addresses issues with Bluetooth, NFC, as well as email, contact, and SMS data loss.
Build 15063.447 is currently live only for those in the Release Preview ring. The company will officially roll out the July cumulative update to everyone on Windows 10 on the 11th of July.
