A variant of the Lumia 635 with 1GB of RAM already listed for sale

If you are thinking that Microsoft already has so many models in the lower-end segment, so there should not be any cheap phone soon, but only high or mid-rangers, well, you are wrong. It seems that there are at least two more cheap Lumia phones coming soon.

First, a new version of the 1-year old Nokia Lumia 635 with 1 GB of RAM instead of 512MB was listed for sales from the German online retailer Cyberport and leaked from Telenor documents. The price in Germany is €139 or just €10 more than the 512 MB version. The remaining features are exactly the same as the old version – 4.5-inch display, 8 GB internal storage, 5 MP camera without flash, and unfortunately there is no front-facing camera.

Nokia Lumia 635 (with 512 MB of RAM) is among of the first smartphones officially supporting the Technical Preview of Windows 10.

Other evidence points to an even lower-end smartphone, similar to the recently announced Microsoft Lumia 435 in terms of specs. NPU reports that a phone codenamed RM-1099 has a 4-inch display (480p), 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB storage, Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor, dual-SIM, and two cameras (0.3MP + 2.2 or 3MP). RM-1099 could be a special county variant of the Lumia 435 or a brand new model.

Microsoft is expected to announce new smartphones in Barcelona next week. Among the new models could be also a successor to the Lumia 1330, and the Lumia 640.
