Mobile Build 14267.1004 released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring
Microsoft fixed the issue with the Lumia 550
Microsoft has released build 14267.1004 for mobile to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring, bringing a couple of fixes and new features over build 14267.1002.
There are two very important fixes in this build. Microsoft has fixed an issue with the Lumia 550 that no longer charges after upgrading to the Redstone build 14267. The company also fixed an issue that blocks Visual Voicemail notifications.
This build introduces Visual Voicemail for the Dual-SIM Lumia 950 XL, and the improved People app with the new History section showing recent interaction with a specific person. Microsoft explains that Skype messages and calls will also be coming to the History tab soon, and the next version of the People app will most likely open specific emails correctly.
It’s important to know that Build 14267.1004 is currently available only for phones that shipped with Windows 10 Mobile – Lumia 950, 950 XL, 650, 550, Xiaomi Mi4 and Alcatel Fierce XL. Microsoft plans to expand the Redstone builds to other smartphones once they receive the official Windows 10 Mobile update sometime in the unknown future.
Here are some known issues in this build:
- Continuum mode with Lumia 950 XL – trackpad experience not working correctly
- Problems connecting to wireless displays
- Windows Feedback app unpins from the Start after upgrading from Build 10586.107
