DC-21 is a portable 6000 mAh battery pack for 39€ / $49

If you are a heavy smartphone user and want some extra power in your pocket, Microsoft has a new product for you – Microsoft Portable Charger DC-21.

The new accessory can charge a Lumia smartphone almost as fast as using a regular wall charger. The new portable battery with the Microsoft’s logo on it has a capacity of 6000 mAh and charges a smartphone using an standard USB-A cable. This is a universally recognized way of charging so you can charge other devices too.

Microsoft promises the new Portable Charger has a very low standby energy consumption so once fully charged it keeps charge to 80% after 6 months. The portable charger will be offered in white, orange and green, matching the colors of the Lumia 930 and 830. DC-21 goes on sale this month, priced at 39€ / $49.
