Microsoft opens pre-orders for Nokia Lumia 930 in Europe

Soon after the budget-friendly Lumia 630 hit the stores, Microsoft made its first Windows Phone 8.1 flagship device available for pre-orders in key European markets. Now, the Nokia Lumia 930, a high-end smartphone with a 5-inch full HD display can be pre-ordered through Amazon and other European retailers. Though there is no word on the exact release date, Lumia 930 should be ready for shipping in the first half of the month, according to rumors.

The Lumia 930, a quad-core device with 20MP PureView camera on the back, has been listed for sale for €550 at two German retailers – TechnikDirect and Abono.

Amazon.de and Amazon.fr have also started taking pre-orders for the top-end WP8.1 smartphone, listed for €580 or €30 more.

In case you’ve missed the past few months, Lumia 930 has the best hardware found in a Windows Phone. The device includes a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon, 2 GB of RAM, 32GB of storage without microSD slot for expansion, 20MP camera and a 2420 mAh battery.

This is the first Windows Phone 8.1 flagship coming with the latest OS built + Lumia Cyan update pre-loaded, so you can enjoy a plenty of new features such as Action center, battery sense, Cortana, more tiles on the home screen and more.

While pre-orders have begun in Europe, details for availability in other parts of the world are yet to be revealed, but we expect the Lumia 930 to hit the stores before the end of July.
