Microsoft is no longer selling the Lumia 950 line in the UK
Both the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are listed as out of stock
Over a month ago, Microsoft started a campaign to offer the Lumia 950 & 950 XL for a reduced price and a free Display Dock in many markets. The company initially announced that the promotion would end on November 28 in the UK, but the offer was later extended until mid-December. However, it seems that Microsoft doesn’t have any more stock, at least in the UK.
Both the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL are now listed as ‘out of stock’ at Microsoft Store UK, just a year after the phones launched on the market. A rumor has it that Redmond will stop selling / promoting the 950 in December, but third party retailers may still have stock of the phones in the coming months.
It’s worth noting that Microsoft is not planning a new Lumia, and the next Microsoft phone may be called Surface. However, such a device will not go on sale before the Redstone 3 update in late 2017. Meanwhile, HP is planning a mid-range device for early 2017.
