Will we see the Lumia Honjo in 2016?

Back in 2015, we reported about Microsoft working on a couple of new Lumia devices that were expected to launch with Windows 10 Mobile in early 2016. Around the end of 2015, several sources claimed that Microsoft canceled a phone codenamed Lumia Honjo, and the Lumia 650 is the last Lumia for 2016.

However, despite those claims there is evidence that Microsoft is still testing new phones, and one of them could be the (un)canceled Lumia Honjo. NPU reports that single-SIM and dual-SIM variants of an unknown phone have been imported in India for testing. It seems that this phone is a mid-ranger, according to the Zauba data.

Despite the above leaks and the certification of RM-1182 in China & Indonesia, there is no guarantee that the Lumia Honjo (a.k.a Lumia 850) will see the daylight anytime soon.
