Windows 10 to support Mastercard’s payment service

Mastercard has today announced an expansion of its Masterpass payment solution to Windows 10 sometime in 2017. Mastercard holders will be able to pay securely online, using Microsoft’s Wallet app for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, at online retailers that accept Masterpass.

Masterpass includes multiply layers of security including EMV, but thanks to Windows 10’s Hello it will become even more secure.

The company is yet to unveil the exact launch date of Masterpass for Windows 10, but this may coincide with the major update for Windows 10, planned for Spring 2017.
