Lyft app is available for Windows 10 PCs, tablets and phones
The Uber alternative launches a Universal Windows app
Lyft has just published the first version (v1.1) of its Universal Windows app for Windows 10. The app works on PCs, phones and tablets, allowing you to get an affordable ride in minutes. Unlike booking a taxi with Uber or waiting for a bus, Lyft allows you to request a friendly driver nearby to take you to the destination. Using Lyft, you can also split the cost of a ride with friends, and pay securely through a smartphone.
The app for Windows 10 offers a clean and modern interface, but there are some performance issues in this first release, especially on mobile. Hopefully, the Lyft team will soon release updates to the app to fix the remaining bugs.
