Lumia 930 is the next Windows Phone flagship
A device codenamed ‘Martini’, a possible Windows Phone 8.1 model, emerged a few weeks ago. Now @evleaks adds a bit more, revealing that ‘Martini’ is the new Nokia flagship called Lumia 930, a successor to the Nokia Lumia 920, which is the top-selling Windows Phone high-end model up to date.
As per sources, the Lumia 930 would be the same phone previously expected to appear at MWC in Barcelona. It would probably sport a 4.5-inch full HD screen, built around a quad-core Snapdragon processor with 2 GB of RAM. It appears that the phone will be a smaller version of the 6-inch Lumia 1520, with the same 20 MP PureView camera, 16 GB of RAM, microSD slot and a 2700 mAh battery.
At least three Windows Phone 8.1 handsets are expected to be introduced in April. In addition to the Lumia 930, we will see the low-end Lumia 630 and the dual-SIM Lumia 635. Finally, a device codenamed ‘Goldfinger’ would be another high-end model which can include 3D touch system allowing users to navigate the phone without touching the screen.
