Lumia 640 is the best smartphone for LTE connection
Lumia 640 & 650 second and third on the GSM 900 band
A new study supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers investigates the antenna performance of 26 of the most popular smartphones in the Nordic Countries in 2016. The study determines the level of signal required the phone to operate when held in the left or right hand, which is crucial in areas with low coverage.
Among the tested models are Microsoft Lumia 640, 650 & 950, Apple’s iPhone 6, 6S and 6S Plus, Galaxy Edge S6+, Nexus 5X, 6P, HTC 10, LG G5 and many others.
The study placed the Lumia 640 on top for LTE data connection on the 800MHz band, while the Lumia 650 came in 5th in the study. Microsoft Lumia 950 is 10th on the list.
Both Lumia 640 and 650 also performed great when tested using the GSM 900 bands. Lumia 640 came in the second place when used with the left hand, and forth with the right. Lumia 650 is third on the left hand side.
