Lumia 535 is a 5-inch phone with two 5MP cameras for just 110 EUR
Single SIM and Dual SIM variants go on sale this month
Microsoft continues the strategy to push the Lumia sales in the low-end segment by launching a new super-affordable handset which is first without the Nokia logo at the top and back. Named Microsoft Lumia 535, it looks like an attractive offer for those who are looking for a cheap but full with features new smartphone.
The Lumia 535 has a big 5-inch screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Inside is a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor running at 1.2 GH which is the same as found in the Lumia 530. What’s interesting about the new phone is the availability of 1 GB of RAM which is a remarkable step forward for low-end Lumias. But there is even more, because the 535 comes with two cameras – a 5-megapixel one with LED flash on the back and a 5MP front facing wide-angle selfie camera – the same found in the Lumia 730/5.
Microsoft Lumia 535 has a design similar to the Lumia 630 with a removable back cover (in 6 different colors) and rounded corners. Under the hood you will find a 1900 mAh battery and a microSD slot that supports up to 128 GB.
The price is just 110 EUR
The new Lumia 535 will be available in two versions, both with 3G support – dual SIM and single SIM variant. The estimated price before taxes is just 110EUR or $130 which is almost the same price as the Nokia Lumia 530. For 110 EUR you will get a bigger screen, two 5MP cameras, more RAM (1 GB) and latest Lumia Denim firmware pre-installed, so the Lumia 535 could easily become the best selling Windows phone in 2015. The smartphone will launch this month in Asia, while other markets will follow shortly.
