LG Lancet for Verizon now costs just $75 contract-free
Microsoft Store reduced the price of the LG Lancet by more than 50%
LG Lancet, the phone released exclusively to work on the Verizon Wireless network in the US, can now be bought from Microsoft Store for just $75 off-contact. The device was unveiled in March 2015 as the first LG-made Windows phone since 2012.
Microsoft Store is now selling the LG Lancet for more than $100 less its original price, and $40 less than the Verizon’s price.
LG Lancet is an affordable phone running Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box, but you can install test Windows 10 Mobile builds on it through the Insider program. The phone has a 4.5 inch screen (854×480), a quad-core Snapdragon 410 with LTE support, 1GB of RAM, 8GB storage, microSD slot expansion, and a 2100 mAh battery.
LG Lancet is currently the only Windows phone released in less then a year ago you can buy from the carrier.
