Microsoft to hold launch events in two key markets

Microsoft has sent invitations to the media in Poland and Russia for launch events where the company will present its upcoming flagship smartphones running Windows 10 – Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.

The company will talk about Lumia and Surface line-ups in Poland on November 18. You can find more information about the event in Polish.

The Russian media event has been scheduled for November 24 in Moscow. Microsoft will present both phones and demonstrate some key features like Continuum and Windows Hello. Read more information here.

Russia and Poland are important markets for Microsoft with Windows Phone being quite popular among the customers. In Russia, for example, Windows Phone is now the second most popular mobile OS after Android with a 12% share.

In these European countries, both Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will be available in late November / early December, but some retailers like N-store.ru have already started taking pre-orders.
