Microsoft to release a new preview build in the coming days

While current Insider Preview build in the Fast Ring has number 10.0.15031.0, Microsoft has already compiled Build 15141. This is a rather big jump in the build numbers, which may be a sign that Microsoft has already started working internally on the next major update for Windows 10 – Redstone 3. However, this build could also be from the current RS2 branch, indicating some significant changes to Windows 10 Mobile.

With Windows 10 ‘Creators Update’ said to be 100% feature-locked for PCs, those on Windows 10 Mobile are still expecting more improvements and new features. We think that Microsoft may be delaying the release of the mobile update a month or two, especially if there are more features planned for Redstone 2 which are yet to be tested by Insiders.

Microsoft’s next major update, Redstone 3, should bring more improvements and features to the devices, including NEON design languages, People Bar, Continuum improvements and Composable Shell.
