Internal update for UWP Skype brings interactive notifications
Microsoft may release the new app with the Anniversary Update
Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Universal Skype private beta. The update brings Skype UWP app to version 11.7.43 and includes three major features, according to WindowsBlogItalia.
- Interactive Notifications: This internal beta allows you to reply directly from the Notification center or from the pop-up banner.
- A new welcome screen: when you start Skype for the first time
- A new message for reconnecting: If you lose connection during a call you will see a new message for reconnecting.
The Universal Skype app for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile should be released to Insiders and everyone else around the Anniversary Update on August 2. Microsoft already announced the upcoming Skype + Messaging integration will be coming later in 2016.
