Microsoft releases a new preview build from the #feature2 branch

Along with the Insider preview build 16188 for Windows 10 PCs, Microsoft released build 15210 for Mobile in the Fast Ring. And while the PC build includes many new features and improvements, the mobile build is just another boring compilation without new things. At least Microsoft has managed to fix some of the issues – like the Glance Screen information and the text messaging service.

Windows 10 Mobile build 15210 appears as a “feature2” update which is a separate branch from Redstone 3. There are rumors that Microsoft will cancel the Redstone 3 update for the current smartphones as the company’s attention shift towards Windows 10 on ARM and Windows 10 S. But another explanation for feature2 could be the fact that Redmonds needs time to prepare the core of Windows 10 Mobile for the composable Shell and the new features that will be coming with Redstone 3.

We think that Microsoft should be talking about its “mobile” plans (if there are such plans) for Windows 10 during the BUILD conference next week. Stay tuned.
