Fixes and improvements for users on the Preview Program

Microsoft has released a new update for all users who are part of the special program for early updates on Windows Phone – Preview for Developers.

The new version 8.10.14192.280 has been labeled as ‘critical’ which means it must be installed to keep your Windows Phone eligible for upcoming future updates.

This update also contains unknown bug fixes and tweaks so you can expect some stability and speed improvements after the installation.

“This update contains our usual scope of fixes and improvements. We’re requiring this update so we can continue to test our update systems. The update will show as a “critical update” on your phone.”

Check for updates by going to Settings -> Phone Update

Download the update and press install. The whole process should finish within 10 -15 minutes.
