Hyperlapse for Windows Phone updated
Microsoft releases the first update for Hyperlapse Mobile
Hyperlapse Mobile is a newly released application for Windows smartphones allowing users to speed up and smoothen their old videos taken with the smartphone or an action camera like GoPro.
The mobile app has just received its first update through the Windows Phone Store. There aren’t new features, but the team squashes some unknown bugs and improves the performance.
Hyperlapse in available for around half of the existing Lumia smartphones plus HTC One M8 for Windows. The older generation of high-end devices like Lumia 920 & 1020 are not supported, which would be a strange decision if not related to some hardware limitations.
Supported devices: • Lumia 435 • Lumia 530 • Lumia 532 • Lumia 535 • Lumia 630 • Lumia 635 • Lumia 636 • Lumia 638 • Lumia 640 • Lumia 640 XL • Lumia 730 • Lumia 735 • Lumia 830 • Lumia 930 • Lumia 1520 • HTC One M8
The technology inside Hyperlapse is based on special algorithms for creating a full 3D camera path and identifying the dominant part, stitching bits and frames and creating stable timelapses. Hyperlapse is available for Windows Desktop (exe.file), Windows Phones and Android (as a beta).
