Huawei Ascend W2 – the next Windows Phone is coming soon. The successor to the Ascend W1 appeared in a new Video ad from China Mobile, revealing the design which looks in line with the previous leaks provided by @evleaks.

The video did not reveal any information about the launch date or the availability of the phone, but it is apparently coming soon. Actually, it was expected that the Huawei Ascend W2 will be introduced at the London event earlier this week, but that did not happen, so we expect some official statement in the following days.

The Ascend W2 will be the second Windows Phone that could be a big deal for Microsoft in the emerging markets and China. According to the rumors, the smartphone will boast a 4.3-inch 720p screen, a dual-core Snapdragon S4 1GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 8 MP main camera and a 2000 mAh battery. The expected price of the Huawei Ascend W2 is around 1770 Yuan ($290).
